Training Day

Total on-site time: 6 hrs. 45 min.

Instructional Time: 6 hrs.

Lunch: 45 minutes (clock starts after last person served)

Group Structure

Students are divided into three groups:

• Assistant Directing/Script Supervising 

• Camera Department 

• Grip & Electric Department (combine)

Each group will attend all three workshops by the end of the day.

Day 1 Rotation

Workshop Focus

• Department roles and responsibilities 

• The importance of being on time and staying on time

• Department paperwork 

• Set workflow and vocabulary

• Communication between departments 

• Expectations for Day 2 Production Workshop
